Known for its tranquility and well-maintained beaches, the town is also a starting or finishing point for the Riviera dei Fiori Coastal Park cycling path<\/strong>\u2014one of the longest in Europe, running along the old coastal railway route.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s Run Together Training with IC Pastonchi\u2019s Sports Group in San Lorenzo (February \u2013 June 2025)<\/h3>\n

Starting in February 2025, at the Secondary School of San Lorenzo al Mare, 25 students from the School Sports Group took part in the Let\u2019s Run Together<\/em> training program.<\/span> Under the guidance of trainers Roberto Fiorini and Andrea Raimondi from the Pro San Pietro sports association, and with the support of teachers Carlotta Silvestri and Gabriele Martini, students participated in eight athletic training sessions in the gym and two classroom sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the athletic activities, students had the chance to improve their running techniques and experience different types of training, both indoors and outdoors.<\/span> Classroom sessions included<\/span> a meeting with nutritionist Dr. Beschi, who provided guidance on proper nutrition for school days and physical activity,<\/span> as well as a sports medicine presentation by Dr. Trapani, with educational materials prepared for the students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s Run Together \u2013 San Lorenzo al Mare, May 30<\/h3>\n

A Day of Sport and Community on the Riviera dei Fiori<\/strong><\/p>\n

On May 30, San Lorenzo al Mare hosted Let\u2019s Run Together<\/em>, a non-competitive sporting event that transformed the village and its magnificent cycling path into a stage for enthusiasm, movement, and shared experiences.<\/p>\n

Designed to combine sports, well-being, and inclusion, the event welcomed people of all ages for an outdoor run\/walk between the sea and olive groves, aiming to promote a healthy lifestyle and active community participation.<\/p>\n

    On May 30, 2025, to conclude the months of training, a lively 2 km mini-marathon was held along the scenic track of the Riviera dei Fiori cycling path. The initiative, open not only to students from the School Sports Group of Istituto Comprensivo Pastonchi, but also to their classmates and families, became a festive moment of sport and well-being. <\/p>\n

    A total of 136 students<\/strong> enthusiastically took on the challenge, demonstrating dedication, sportsmanship, and the willingness to push themselves. To make the day even more exciting, an awards ceremony recognized the top three finishers in each of the four age and gender categories \u2014 Cadets, Cadettes, Boys, and Girls<\/strong> \u2014 celebrating sporting merit in a welcoming and inclusive environment. <\/p>\n
